How to share your Dropbox files with links

How to share your Dropbox files with links
Dropbox users can now share files via links, instead of of relying on the public folder. It lets you easily share your files and folders with others, even if they don't have a Dropbox account. We'll show you to use the share links from dropbox.com, your PC, and your smartphone.

Share files via links from dropbox.com
From dropbox.com, either right-click on a folder or a file, then select the Get Link option. You can also hover over a folder or file, then click on the get link icon, to the right of the file name. After you choose to get the link, a new browser tab will open with the link in the address bar, which you can then copy and share with anyone.

Share files via links from your PC
From your PC, right-click on a folder or file, then go to Dropbox > Get link. A browser window will open with the link in the address bar, just like when using dropbox.com.

Share files via links from your smartphone
On your smartphone, tap the drop-down arrow, then select Share. A list will appear with Copy link at the very top and a list of other mobile apps you can use to share the link with. Dropbox for iOS and Blackberry should also work in a similar fashion.

That's it. Now you can quickly and easily share your Dropbox files and folders with others. When the link is opened, the person you shared it with will be able to download the file to their own computer or mobile phone.
