Having founded the online company in 1995 with David Filo, Yang served as Yahoo's chief executive from June 2007 until January 2009.

Digital music-subscription company Spotify is launching a free radio service for mobile devices in the U.S, according to a latest report from the Associated Press. The service is available only on iOS devices right now.
Spotify started offering the radio service on computers in December and discovered that people wanted to use it on their mobile too.
“We found those that use radio are really some of the most highly engaged users of Spotify. They stay longer and are more likely to upgrade ,” said Charlie Hellman, Spotify’s vice president of product.

Vodafone has slashed its 3G data tariffs by up to 80 per cent for its customers in India. These data plans start from Rs 25 for 25 MB data usage and go up to Rs 1,599 for 12 GB of data usage. For any usage beyond the stipulated data usage on each plan, the customers will be charged at the rate of 2 paisa per 10 KB.
The Pay As You Go rate for prepaid customers has also been slashed to 2 paisa per 10 KB. Additionally, Vodafone will now allow its customers to use data from their bundle package while on roaming across any location in India without any additional charge.

The survey of 2.8 million American households in Opower's database showed that Yahoo users spend an average of $110 more on energy bills each year than their Gmail counterparts, based on the email address of the person who manages the electricity bill.
