GOOGLE GOES UP AGAINST MP3 RIPPERS FOR YOUTUBE

Google goes up against MP3 rippers for YouTube Google is now going up against websites and services which allow users to rip audio from YouTube videos, convert it into a MP3 file and download it for their usage. It is obvious that such an act violates the video sharing site’s terms and conditions.
The website, YouTube-MP3.org which is one such famous YouTube to MP3 converter has received a letter from Google and was given seven days to comply as reported by TorrentFreak, which saw the letter sent to YouTube-MP3.com.
YouTube has been quite strict about its rules and regulations and recently have taken violations quite seriously. This probably could be due the increasing number of music publishers on the site as YouTube is definitely working on better opportunities for artist to make money.
Google is already facing a lot accusation for allegedly facilitating piracy across its carious services and YouTube which is one of its prime services could further come under more fire. It is not a big mystery that Google may possibly be targeting other similar services with the same message and we might get more information on the same very soon.
In the letter sent to YouTube-MP3.com, YouTube’s associate product counsel, cite the company’sAPI Terms of Service which clearly states that separating, isolating, or modifying audio or video components of any content is prohibited and could result in legal consequences. However, the owner of YouTube-MP3.com, who has identified himself as Philip states that his site does not use the API and obtains the videos by other means, reports TorrentFreak.
